Job Description:
Join Clean Harbors, a leader committed to the critical task of
protecting our environment through dedicated hazardous waste
disposal and emergency response services. We are seeking an
enthusiastic Sales and Service Representative with a Class B CDL to
manage routes for our environmental and industrial service
offerings. This role involves strong customer interaction and
adherence to compliance regulations while driving environmental
sustainability. Safely operate Class B vehicles on pre-assigned and
special routes to pick up hazardous and non-hazardous waste and
other materials. Promote and upsell services to meet client needs
while ensuring excellent customer service through direct
interactions on-site. Utilize technology for routing and
documentation, ensuring accurate tracking of pickups and
deliveries. Adhere to all health and safety policies in handling
waste materials and ensure compliance with environmental
regulations. Manage logistical and scheduling requirements to
optimize daily operations, control costs, and meet service
commitments. Participate in continuous training on hazardous
materials handling, emergency response, and environmental
compliance. Competency in operating Class B vehicles Strong
communication and interpersonal skills for effective customer
interactions Basic math and reading skills for accurate record
keeping and inventory Capability to handle physical requirements of
the job including handling hazardous materials safely Knowledge of
DOT, EPA, and state environmental regulations Medical Insurance

Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) with clean driving record
HAZWOPER certification is beneficial but not mandatory Training or
certification in hazardous materials handling or a related field
desired
