Job Description:
US Foods, a leading force in the foodservice distribution
industry in America, is looking for an accomplished New Business
Manager to join our dynamic Sales & Business Development team. In
this role, you will be instrumental in driving the expansion of our
clientele by identifying new business opportunities and building
lasting relationships with potential customers. As a New Business
Manager, you will leverage your knowledge of the foodservice market
and a deep understanding of our extensive product line, including
high-quality private label items, to meet sales targets and
contribute significantly to our mission of helping businesses
succeed. Develop strategies to source new client leads and manage
the full sales cycle from prospecting to sealing the deal.
Understand customer needs and effectively communicate how our
products and services can meet those needs. Prepare and deliver
persuasive presentations to potential clients. Negotiate contracts
aimed at maximizing profit while satisfying customer needs.
Maintain a thorough knowledge of the industry and current market
trends to forecast sales opportunities. Work closely with marketing
and product teams to develop strategies that enhance our offerings
and market presence. Monitor sales performance metrics to ensure
targets are met or exceeded. Strong sales and negotiation skills
Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while
maintaining sharp attention to detail Excellent interpersonal and
communication skills, both verbal and written Ability to develop
strategic relationships and engage new clients Strong analytical
and problem-solving skills Proficient with CRM software and sales
management tools Preferred: Certified Professional Salesperson
(CPS) or similar Relevant training in sales or business
development
