Job Description:

The inside-sales personnel interact with our customers in a highly professional and positive manner, lending a hand with other company tasks as needed.

? Respond to customer and sales-staff requests from a variety of sources including telephone, e-mail, FAX, website, text message, IM, etc

? Accurately & completely input SOs & quotations in a timely fashion, meeting company standards for consistency

? Engage in research in order to quickly and accurately answer questions / requests from our customers and sales staff, up-selling, suggestive selling, offering alternatives and upgrades to customers as needed

? Assist customers at the will-call counter and other walk-in traffic

? Aid shipping/receiving to resolve demands of daily shipping schedules

? Works with shipping/receiving regarding shortages, adjustments and expediting of customer product

? Communicate effectively with sales staff or management regarding potential business opportunities/enhancements and potential problems, establishing good relations with prospects and recommending solutions

? Help with file (both physical and electronic) organization, maintaining effective access when needed

? Take care to keep margins and profits in line with established company standards, being mindful of what the industry or customer will bear

? Establish and coordinate demo equipment procedure/process under the direction of Operations Manager

? Helping company achieve sales goals and other objectives

? Participate in our goal-oriented teams for a specific area within the company (marketing, training, technology, people), or as-needed within others created

? Review open orders weekly and resolve past-due orders communicating with appropriate personnel or customers if there is trouble, and help with scheduling of future orders

? Continually enhance industry/product knowledge by participating in training opportunities and research

? Other tasks as assigned
