A Sales Representative/Head of Sales for Far From The Tree creates, facilitates, and executes professional relationships and correspondence with accounts. This person, along with designated distribution representatives, serves as the point of contact for the businesses that Far From The Tree and it's distributors provide our product to. This position is built to begin primarily as a "Sales Representative" position with visiting and direct maintence of accounts with a strong pathway to growth into a "Head of Sales" within 2 years where a team will be hired and managed. Using superb communication in order to present and sell Far From The Tree's products to existing and prospective customers/accounts.
Presenting costs and cost-benefits to existing and prospective customers/accounts.
Maintaining a constructive, productive, and worthwhile relationship with accounts and distributors.
Being a source of communication between accounts and distributors, when needed.
Setting up and carrying through in-person meetings with accounts.
Cold calling to establish leads with potential accounts.
Coordinate and communicate sales efforts with General Manager.
Create analysis of sales territories.
Stay up on product and sales trends to adjust sales pitches and promotions in the best way possible.
Work collaboratively with General Manager, Tap Room Manager and Head Cider Maker to develop new products that will appeal best to the market.
Maintain legal compliance in regards to labels and distribution requirements in Massachusetts and other states.
Eventual interviewing, hiring, training, and creation of a team of Sale Representatives that have the qualifications and availability to represent Far From The Tree.
Highly motivated, outgoing, and confident in creating and maintaining professional relationships.
Superb communication skills.
Friendly and approachable.
Highly organized and good with time management.
Skillful at creating and executing presentations specific to accounts and the product that is being sold.
Open to feedback to continuously improve.
Strong work ethic and ability to persevere in very challenging work conditions.
Proven sales experience in a similar setting.
Valid Massachusetts driver's license.
Able to work full time, which may include nights and weekends.
Job Type: Full-time
Salary: $60,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
