Job DescriptionCapital Press, the leading media company for Agriculture and Timber Industry news, seeks a Sales Assistant to work closely with field-based Territory Managers to increase sales revenue and provide a superior customer experience.This position works directly with customers to set appointments, process advertising and sales data, and create and maintain financial and sales reports. The Sales Assistant works closely with assigned Territory Managers in a small team setting.The ideal candidate will have phone sales skills, be adept at administrative and data entry functions, write and speak well, enjoy making social media posts and have excellent follow through. The ability to work in a fast paced environment with frequent interruptions is important. Marketing, sales and CRM experience is preferred.Our full-time staff work 37.5 hour workweeks. This position has a generous commission plan in addition to base pay.Headquarters for Capital Press are located in Salem, Ore. After initial training on-site, this position could work from home, as long as you are within the NW states of Oregon or Idaho.
