This is an exciting opportunity for an individual with a strong background in construction accounting, billing, and project cost management to contribute to our company's growth and success! The ideal candidate will have at least 3 years of experience in the construction industry and a proven track record of managing financial aspects of construction projects. This role requires a keen eye for detail, strong organizational skills, and a deep understanding of financial principles and practices in the construction industry.Responsibilities:

• Oversee all accounting related to construction projects, including cost tracking, billing, and and assisting with closing periods alongside the controller
• Prepare and submit regular financial reports, including profit and loss statements, balance sheets, and cash flow reports.
• Collaborate with project managers to ensure accurate and timely billing for all construction projects.
• Analyze financial data to identify potential cost savings and efficiency opportunities.
• Assist in the preparation of budgets and financial forecasts.
• Manage and reconcile all financial discrepancies related to construction projects.
• Maintain updated knowledge of construction industry trends and regulations.Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field OR work equivalency will suffice
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience as an accountant with at least one year in construction
  • Strong understanding of construction accounting principles and practices.
  • Proficient in accounting software and MS Office, particularly Excel.
  • Excellent numerical skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
