Description:We are seeking to hire an experienced Roving Maintenance Technician to join our team in Salem, OR. The Roving Maintenance Technician will be responsible for picking up grounds, being dispatched to handle maintenance work orders, turns and emergency phone calls. Rotating on call is required.Properties: Four properties in the Salem area (12-unit apartment, duplexes and townhomes)Pay: $25.00 an hourWorkdays: Monday to Friday, 8 am - 4:30 pmAdditional Compensation: $50 cell phone stipend and mileage reimbursementResponsibilities for the Maintenance TechnicianReviewing punch list and completing items in a timely manner or as instructed.Participating in meetings and training sessions as required.Completing all resident maintenance/repair requests in a timely and professional manner.Utilize a P.O. system for purchases.Accompany all necessary building inspections and walk throughs for owners, Management staff, brokers, appraisers and other interested parties.Be available during established on-call schedule.Educate other staff on maintenance principles and projects.Maintain and monitor interior and exterior common area cleanlinessCabinet and laminate installation.Tub surround replacement, tile work, drywall repair and minor framing.Troubleshooting skills.What we'll do for you as the Maintenance Technician (Employee Benefits) The Maintenance Technician is eligible for benefits first of the month following 30 days of employment.
