  • This recruitment will be used to establish a list of qualified applicants to fill the current vacancy and may be used to fill future vacancies as they occur.WHAT YOU WILL DOThe person in this position will conduct economic, technical, and policy analysis related to OHCS's Affordable Rental Housing funding strategies and priorities. They will participate in program development, planning; develop and implement operational controls and reporting that serve to increase efficiency, clarity, and alignment with diverse efforts. This position will also assist and/or lead new program implementation and one time program offerings.MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONSA bachelor's degree in business or public Administration, Behavioral or Social Sciences, Finance, Political Science or any degree demonstrating the capacity for the knowledge and skills; and four years professional-level evaluative, analytical and planning work.ORAny combination of experience and education equivalent to seven years of experience that typically supports the knowledge and skills for the classification.To request a copy of the position description, please contact: WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR (DESIRED ATTRIBUTES)The most competitive candidates will possess the following attributes, experience, and knowledge:

    • Knowledge of affordable housing finance, affordable housing development, and/or compliance activities related to the management of affordable housing properties.
    • Experience developing, implementing, and/or running programs.
    • Experience planning or coordinating significant processes, programs, and/or outreach efforts.
    • Experience in researching and summarizing complex subject matters.
    • Ability to critically analyze, interpret, and explain technical data and reports.
    • Excellent Communication (verbal & written).
    • Ability to present program, policy, and technical information to a wide variety of audiences.
    • Ability to be proactive, adaptable, and socially collaborative.
