Job Description:
As a Manufacturing Workforce Analyst, you will synthesize
enterprise employee data, primary research, and secondary research
to become the subject matter expert on the employee journey,
pivot-points along that journey, and measuring key KPIs at those
pivot-points to ensure Ford continues to deliver an excellent
employee experience. To this end, you will be instrumental in
ensuring Ford's employee systems and processes result in strong job
satisfaction and strong job performance, and importantly, that our
talent pool meets the diverse needs the mobility industry will
require in the future.This position is part-time with the
opportunity to work up to 36 hours with the exact schedule/hours
per week determined with the candidate.+ Collaborate across the
company to understand the business and people strategies, identify
opportunities for data-driven insights, deliver impactful
storytelling through insights, and influence key decision making+
Become the subject matter expert on the employee journey,
pivot-points along that journey, and measuring key KPIs at those
pivot-points to ensure Ford continues to deliver an excellent
employee experience resulting in strong job satisfaction and strong
job performance+ Manage end-to-end analytic, research studies
solving workforce problems that impact business outcomes by
synthesizing enterprise employee data, primary research, and
secondary research to determine whether Ford should be doing
something differently from a talent perspective to better align
with Ford's strategic priorities+ Own the end-to-end feedback
process for the manufacturing employee experience across various
people policy initiatives+ Responsibility for People Matters
operational metrics and global case data+ Provide
strategically-generated recommendations on whether Ford should
'buy, build, or borrow' in order to close talent gaps identified
through synthesis of what employees are saying, what they're doing,
what talent competitors are doing, and how economic, demographic,
industry, and tech dynamics in the marketplace are trending+ Use
data from disparate sources identifying current and future
strategic workforce skill requirements and existing gaps to
generate business-grounded insights informing a workforce planning
strategy that closes those gaps to accelerate Ford's
transformation+ Manage the metrics and insights from various data
sources to provide a holistic story of manufacturing employee
experiences+ Proactively monitor internal and external trends that
may impact the employee experience in manufacturing+ Combine
internal and external data with Ford business context to
strategically define, test, visualize, and institutionalize key
performance indicators+ Draw insights from these KPIs to influence
the strategic direction of the business+ Integrate insights into
existing and developing talent processes & systems+ Contribute to
developing a data-driven culture across the broader HR team to
mobilize toward self-service insights enterprise-wide**The minimum
requirements we seek:**+ Bachelor's degree+ 2+ years of experience
working for a for-profit corporation+ 5+ years of experience in a
field emphasizing business, economics, analytics, corporate
strategy, market research, workforce planning, consumer insights,
and/or people science in organizations+ 5+ years of experience
using metrics, data, and/or analytics to inform business decisions+
5+ years of experience conducting research by formulating data
collection instruments, manipulating and analyzing data, generating
insights, and sharing commercial-lens results with various types of
audiences+ 2+ years professional experience using data
preparation/manipulation/analysis/visualization tools such as R,
Python, SQL, Tableau, Visier, QlikView, PowerBI, SPSS, SAS,
etc.**Our preferred requirements:**+ Master's Degree/MBA+
Proficiency in global data privacy policies+ Direct experience with
the ethical use of employee data+ Experience in employee
policies/labor relations/employment law+ Natural curiosity to solve
complex problems in creative ways+ Knowledge of best practices and
research supporting excellent forecasting and measurement+
Familiarity with designing and deploying reports, scorecards, and
dynamic dashboards+ Ability to communicate complex ideas/findings
clearly and concisely+ Experience teaching and/or upskilling other
employees on new concepts and capabilities+ Proficiency in
secondary research sources and the ethical sourcing thereof+
Proficiency in understanding and translating data privacy policies+
Knowledge of/experience with machine learning and natural language
processing+ Interest in trends, innovation, and emerging areas of
