Job Description:

Edgelink is looking for a Senior Software Engineer for our client. Their platform monitors the dark web for any kind of illegal activity from prescription distribution to human and drug trafficking. This is a great opportunity to make an impact on internet safety and work with an engineering centric company on a team of smart, like-minded individuals.

What You'll Do:
Collaborate with Product Management and engineering leadership to define sprint deliverables
Translate broad requirements into specific actions or tasks
Plan and execute new feature work and maintenance with a high level of quality
Collaborate with the team to establish processes to ensure high quality coding practices are being utilized
Work with team to address defects and conduct reviews of issues with the team to improve overall quality
Collaborate with team to create documentation of technical infrastructure and designs
Mentor junior and mid-level engineers

What You'll Bring:
5 years' experience working in an agile environment
Python, AWS, Lambda, DynamoDB, Elasticsearch, MySQL
Experience developing modern APIs (REST and GraphQL)
Ability to communicate highly technical details in a manner that is easily understood by non-technical audiences
Excellent time management and problem solving skills as well as the ability to use good judgment and make strong independent decisions

Full Time, Direct Hire
$150K-170K
