JOB PURPOSE
Provide administrative services to underwriters and customers to
support timely and accurate medical underwriting.
PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES / ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Contribute to the company's success through excellent customer
service and meeting or exceeding performance objectives for the
following major job functions:
1. Prepare applicant files for information required by Medical
Underwriting, Legal and Benefits personnel.
2. Input applicant data and all received documentation into the
Medical Underwriting tracking systems.
3. Respond to applicants, field representatives, brokers and other
customers through effective oral and written communications to
answer questions concerning applications and status.
4. Participate in department or Division projects, including
product development and quality improvement
ESSENTIAL FUNCTION REQUIREMENTS
Demonstrated skills: Written and oral communication skills;
excellent attention to detail.
Ability to: Learn medical underwriting processes and systems, group
insurance products, and risk assessment principles. Interact
effectively with applicants, professional staff and other
customers; organize workload to meeting changing priorities and
deadlines, and work at a detail level.
Working knowledge of: Personal computer applications.
QUALIFICATIONS
Education: High School diploma
Experience: Demonstrated customer service experience, or the
equivalent combination of education and/or relevant experience.
0-2 Years' Experience
Comments for Suppliers: Remote Position- Candidate can sit anywhere
in US, flexibility to work hours in TZ. Daily huddle meeting at
9:30am PST (must be available). Possibility for extension and
conversion. Heavy data entry and admin skills needed. Attention to
Detail & Accuracy are important in this role.
