businesses and you should be as well. As a Lubricants salesperson,
you are responsible for connecting with customers and potential
customers to understand their business needs and offer solutions
from our line of lubricant products. You will support the
division's efforts to meet its financial targets by selling
automotive, commercial, and industrial lubricants to business and
industrial establishments and maintaining existing accounts. The
location of the position is flexible Portland area.
Utilize various sources to identify prospective customers to
generate sales leads.
Cold call and telemarket to potential lubricant customers and
maintain opportunities in company CRM database.
Present lubricant product options using examples and emphasizing
Quote prices and credit terms and prepare product orders, including
Call on existing customers by phone and in person to maintain
accounts as needed.
Monitor, evaluate and report on key market trends and activities of
competitors and recommend actions to counter competitors'
Recommend sales/value added programs and selling tools.
Promote and collaborate with other division line sales
representatives for cross selling.
Assist Account Manager with monthly reporting.
Perform special projects as needed.
Associate's degree (A. A.) or equivalent from two-year college or
technical school and 2+ years sales experience in the
transportation industry desirable, or equivalent combination of
education and experience.
Strong "hunter" mentality with experience selling to industrial or
