employment.Introduction:Provides expert level in implementation,
training and education support of NextGens's EHR, EPM, DM, and
ancillary module solutions. -The Integration and Training
Specialist is responsible for working with IT, clinic staff, and
physicians to implement and maintain NextGen
systems.Requirements:Must have a Bachelor's degree in Computer
Science, Information Systems, or equivalent is required. - -
-Minimum of five (5) years experience in healthcare system
implementation and support in a large multi-specialty health care
system is required. Knowledge of: Microsoft SQL-2005/2008, MCP,
MCSE or other vendor certifications or demonstrated knowledge and
experience in SQL database administrationBasic technical level
knowledge of Local Area Networks and protocols required. Must
possess strong analytical and problem solving skills for
troubleshooting complex issues and diverse software/hardware
problems. Windows 7, Microsoft office, and network printers.
Microsoft Office applications especially an intermediate to
advanced knowledge of Excel. MOS (Microsoft Office Specialist)
certification a plus. Experience in: NextGen applications are
required. -Current NextGen Certified Profession certification
required. Working in ambulatory clinic setting. Crystal Reports or
other reporting languages is preferred. HL7 based interfaces
between EHR/EMR systems is required. -Rosetta Interface Engine
preferred. Proactively assessing opportunities to optimize the
NextGen system, related workflows and procedures. Ability to:
Multi-task, this includes the ability to understand multiple
products and multiple levels of benefits within each product.

confidence and trust. -Duties:Responsible for the employee and
physician training and support for all NextGen clinical EHR and EPM
system implementation projects. Responsible for EHR/EPM/DM and
other NextGen module training for new employees and on-going post
implementation. Participation and coordination with IT to evaluate
workflows and ensure EHR/EPM systems are used efficiently and the
system is used to capacity. Monitor and ensure data integrity and
quality assurance. Design and customize training content and
materials as well as provide group, individual and onsite training.
Provide support to end users, troubleshoot issues and identify
training opportunities. Manage help desk tickets for NextGen
related technical issues and assist IT staff as needed with other
clinical programs. Follow vendor provided procedures and schedules
for the maintenance and upgrade to the NextGen products and related
clinical technologies. Template maintenance, development and
testing. Perform user access audits on clinical systems as
required. Responsible for data mining/reporting, including
assisting in the development and testing of various reports as
needed by multiple departments. Administration of EHR/EPM including
but is not limited to, adding users, database security, analyzing
and evaluating data, designing queries, importing/exporting data,
rebuilding files and indexes, troubleshooting and problem
resolution, installing patches and upgrades, and data conversion.
Develops and implements effective database and applications
policies and procedures. Coordinates and executes operational goals
with IT and ensures that Clinic databases and application needs are
complemented and supported. Coordinates and schedules all database
and related application requests and operations. Maintains strict
confidentiality of all information encountered while performing
daily tasks. Researches, identifies and selects new service or
equipment providers as required. Expectation of attending training
and other webex/webinar sessions that are assigned for the current
project to be able to be up to speed with current knowledge.
Provide follow up and training with staff accordingly with the
information that has been reviewed based on the current project.
Provide updates on current project to Administration on a weekly
basis. In partnership with department leadership ensure staff is
participating and creating NextGen related workflows for their
departments based on the training and requirements of Tribal
Health. Train Clinical Applications Coordinator. ADDITIONAL
FUNCTIONS: Performs and assists with complex databases and
applications functions as required. -Successful completion of
special projects as assigned. Serves as Implementation and Training
expert for Clinic projects to include assisting in preparation of
specifications, bidding processes, pre-bid meeting coordination and
final selection of contractors. Produces reports, statistics and
other desired information for strategic planning and budgeting
purposes. -All new employees will serve a six-month probationary
period to enable the General Manger to determine their suitability
as a tribal employee. -After the six-month probation the employee
will be evaluated of his/her performance and at that time, it will
be, decided if the employee is entitled to a regular employee
