Purpose of the Wellness Nurse RN (Registered Nurse) ALF/RCF
The primary purpose of the Wellness Nurse - RN is to promote the
health and wellbeing of each resident, ensuring that the highest
degree of quality care is maintained at all times. The RN will
provide accurate nursing evaluations giving appropriate input for
the development of resident service plans; will provide direct care
to the residents; educate staff on the appropriate care of each
resident; educate staff as needed on nursing tasks in accordance
with current federal, state, and local standards, guidelines, and
regulations that govern the community, and as may be required by
the Director of Clinical Services at the Management Company.
The Wellness Nurse - RN is delegated the administrative
authority, responsibility and accountability necessary for carrying
out assigned duties.

Must possess, as a minimum, a Nursing Degree from an accredited
college or university.
Must have, as a minimum, one (1) year of nursing service
experience in a health field, preferably Geriatric or long-term.
Experience demonstrating a high level of professionalism in dealing
with the public, especially as a liaison with other health care
professionals in the community. Experience working well with other
managers as part of a management team. Must have a strong teaching
