Your Role With Us: You will be asked to employ your outstanding analytical and leadership skills to oversee a large and diverse team in six in-patient and out-patient service areas. We will count on you to foster an environment for constant growth and improvement, while ensuring that the essential patient registration process is performed accurately and timely. Core Functions: + Supervises Access Services staff ensuring that service expectations are consistently met. + Ensures patients are registered courteously, accurately and in a timely manner. + Routinely audits EPIC service encounters to ensure compliance with standard work and work is performed with a high degree of accuracy. + Maintains confidentiality regarding performance or disciplinary concerns. + Actively evaluates ways to improve registration process and workflows and assists in prioritizing daily work + Creates and maintains staff schedules that provide optimal staff to patient volumes. + Responsible for developing and maintaining procedures, policies and standard work for all daily, weekly, monthly important tasks. + Ensures policy, procedure, tip sheet, standard work documents are updated, meet accreditation standards and the needs of the personnel who work in the area. Documents are clearly titled and easy to locate + Provide leadership through regular staff meetings and huddles, maintaining and distributing appropriate information in a clear, concise and timely manner + Responsible for hiring process by reviewing and identifying top candidates. Conducts telephone and in person interviews and coordinates peer interviews as appropriate. + Works closely with Human Resources to extend offers of employment and schedule on-boarding and training schedules. + Works collaboratively with leaders, business partners and other stakeholders to identify negative trends, opportunities for improvement and problem solving. Background/Expertise + High school diploma or equivalent required. College degree preferred. + Minimum of three (3) years experience in hospital admitting/registration preferred + Minimum of one (1) year in a leadership role preferred. + Must be prepared with work in a role which may require evening, weekend or holiday work. + Course work in quality, Kaizen/Lean, performance improvement preferred We have many excellent opportunities available!
