Northwest Farm Credit Services is in search of a Relationship Manager to join our Oregon Lending Team in our Salem, Oregon location. As a member-owned financial cooperative, we help business owners in agriculture, forestry and fisheries secure the financing they need to operate and grow, and the crop insurance they need to protect their livelihoods. Our customers are primarily located in Montana, Idaho, Oregon, Washington and Alaska. This full-time position reports to the SVP-Western Oregon and is responsible for providing sound, constructive credit and related services to Northwest FCS customers.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Markets and sells financial products including loans and financially related services
  • Completes visits to customers' operations, which may include visually inspecting the condition and value of loan collateral, and evaluating customers' management practices and expected repayment
  • Prepares credit analysis and makes quality credit decisions to ensure customer service, and a high-quality loan portfolio and administration
  • Gathers financial information through interviews in person and by phone, and develops and implements sales/servicing plans and actions with credit analysts and financial specialists

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in business or ag-related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Ability to establish rapport with, and develop and maintain the confidence of, customers and prospective customers
  • Ability to read or learn to read audited financial statements, legal opinions, tax records and other financials


  • Valid driver's license
