Job Description:
US Foods, a leader in foodservice distribution, is seeking a
highly efficient Night Warehouse Manager to lead our dynamic team
in the warehouse operations throughout the night shift. This
position is crucial in ensuring that the distribution of products
is executed with precision and timeliness, aligning with the
companys commitment to excellence and customer satisfaction. The
Night Warehouse Manager is responsible for the oversight of
inventory management, staff supervision, and implementing
strategies to optimize efficiency and productivity during night
operations. Oversee and manage all night shift warehouse operations
including staff, inventory, and facility management. Implement and
monitor efficient warehousing procedures, ensuring safety and
compliance with regulations. Drive a culture of accountability and
excellence within the warehouse team. Manage shipments, incoming
stock, and inventory accuracy through systematic organization.
Coordinate with other department managers to streamline operations
and facilitate the smooth distribution of products. Develop and
maintain effective communication protocols to inform and engage
stakeholders in operational progress and challenges. Ensure optimal
maintenance and functionality of all warehouse equipment and
technology. Proven leadership and staff management skills. Strong
understanding of warehousing and inventory management systems.
Excellent communication and problem-solving skills. Ability to
mentor and motivate teams during overnight hours. Knowledge of
occupational health and safety regulations in a warehouse setting.
Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Certified in
Production and Inventory Management (CPIM) preferred. Forklift
Operation Certification. First Aid and CPR certifications.
