Bank is seeking a talented Technology Consultant with the ability
to identify, learn and apply IT technologies to contribute toward
the success of our technology initiatives. Consults on a wide
spectrum of existing and emerging technologies and associated
services and processes. Participates on special technical projects.
Consults with IT management and technical staffs regarding use of
emerging technologies and services. Recommends technical
alternatives, providing clear alignment of the technology's
strengths and weaknesses against the business objectives.
Participates in the evaluation, selection, and application of new
and emerging tools and techniques. Evaluates compliance with the
organization's current and future tech standards and portfolios.
Analyzes market trends concerning new technologies. Drives the
review of existing standards with the standards owner. Provides
input and suggestions to improve the usability of the standard and
to drive the standard forward. Maintains relationships with key
vendors. Monitors the architecture of the vendors offering to
ensure continued compatibility of the U.S. Bank technology
portfolio.Successful applicants will exemplify US Bank's ethical

citizenship.**Basic Qualifications:**+ Bachelor's degree or
equivalent work experience.+ At least 5 years experience with the
concepts, philosophies and tools behind the design of applications,
information and underlying information technologies.+ At least 10
years experience with developing and implementing
applications.**Preferred Skills/Experience:**+ **Lead role and
technical point of contact for Problem Managers on team**+
Knowledge and experience with **APIs, solid IT Architecture
background**+ **Update API documentation that is published
internally to ensure we react to customer requests in a consistent
manner (runbooks, known errors)?.**+ **Work closely with Incident
Managers on root cause analysis**+ **Research incident trends,
identify repeat incidents and develop solutions for known errors**+
**Review technical investigation activities with support teams to
identify permanent corrective actions and workaround**+ **Work with
technical teams to implement corrective actions to ensure
preventative measures are taken so issues are not repeated and
workarounds are backed out**+ **Update service tickets frequently
and describes investigation findings in detail**+ **Challenge
support teams to identify opportunities for improvement**+ Strong
leadership and collaboration skills+ Possess big-picture
perspective, understand business goals to manage/mitigate
operational risks+ Excellent communicator both verbally and

.Salary range reflected is an estimate of base pay and is for the
primary location. Base pay range may vary if an offer is made for
work in a different location. Pay Range: $112,710.00 - $132,600.00
