full-time IT Specialist to work out of their main office in Salem

2021.The IT Specialist/Network Administrator is crucial to the OOS
mission because they enable our healthcare team to gain anywhere,
anytime access to the data and knowledge that are crucial for
improving patient care. Position OverviewThe IT Specialist/Network
Administrator is key to our success because they support end-users
and assist them to use technology more effectively. As the
connection between devices and data sources, the IT
Specialist/Network Administrator helps to streamline our workflows
and keep crucial health information safe and accessible.Essential
Job Functions
- Set up new users
- Deploy Microsoft Office productivity applications
- Prepare PCs for deployment
- Assist users with remote access technologies such as VPN and
Microsoft Terminal Services
- Support Microsoft Windows networks including setting and
troubleshooting file/folder permissions, Group Policy
administration and system patching
- Oversee Microsoft 365 technologies including Exchange Online,
OneDrive, Teams, & SharePoint
- Support a variety of network devices and software in a medical
environmentRequired Qualifications
- Familiarity with Microsoft Windows desktop and server versions,
Active Directory, and Group Policy
- Comfortable supporting e-mail systems, preferably Microsoft
Exchange or Office 365
- Familiar with and adept at troubleshooting remote access
technologies
- Familiar with wireless technologies
- Comfortable supporting a variety of smartphones – Apple,
Android, Windows
- Associates degree
- Experience deploying and supporting Microsoft Windows desktop
operating systems and related hardware
- Experience supporting Microsoft Office 365 / Cloud
technologies
- Experience supporting applications (preferably in a medical
setting)
- Experience supporting remote access technologiesPreferred
Qualifications
- Preference will be given to individuals who possess one or more
IT industry certifications such as: Microsoft MCP or MCSA, CompTIA
Security+, Network+, A+
- Bachelor's degree
- 4+ years of experience deploying and supporting Microsoft
Windows desktop operating systems and related hardware, supporting
Microsoft Office 365 / Cloud technologies and supporting remote
access technologies
- Experience supporting applications in a medical settingA

primarily in Salem, Oregon, with regular travel to other locations
in McMinnville, Silverton and Woodburn. It is an on-site position.
