DMInc.com - Careers - Twitter - LinkedIn - Facebook About The Opportunity DMI is seeking an experienced Technical Lead responsible for overseeing all technical aspects of a platform implementation and operations and maintenance project. The Technical Lead works with the development and integration team to ensure the optimum technical solution is implemented in the development of new and existing platforms and applications. The Technical Lead will review and contribute to designs, prepare technical documentation deliverables, enforces coding and design standards, and provides technical support to the team. The Technical Lead must also work collaboratively with client staff to validate design approaches and help in troubleshooting systems issues, as needed. Responsibilities Responsible for leading the development team overseeing the configuration, implementation, and development of the solution. Responsible for all technical aspects of the project solution, establishes documentation and coding standards for the Project team and ensures the team adheres to the standards. Serve as POC project teams for consultation on future enhancements (e.g., changes to achieve strategic objectives, implement a new program) Serve as SME on technical design of all project components, has a solution-wide view and ensures each component and module work together. Understand client requirements thoroughly to build appropriate, compliant solutions Provide technical designs for implementations, or review those created by team members Develop and oversee technical development that is in line with our established architecture, technical designs, and development standards Plan and manage releases, overseeing a development team to ensure they are on schedule and developing features to meet requirements Act as the primary technical implementation contact for our clients--- technical teams Learn other technologies and platforms as needed to support delivery of client engagements Qualifications Required Skills: Bachelor---s Degree in Computer Science or related field 10 years of demonstrated technical leadership through large-scale, enterprise-grade implementations within the commerce domain Demonstrated ability to lead a team Demonstrated ability to learn and adapt technology to develop solid client solutions Basic Qualifications Previous success as an architect/technical lead on diverse aspects of complex commerce projects Ability to follow established coding standards and ensure implementation team members do the same Ability to work under minimal supervision, relying on experience, research, and judgment to plan and accomplish assigned goals Experience with technical project documentation Ability to build rapport with team members and clients Effective communication in English, with good verbal, written, and presentation skills Location: Salem, Oregon Working at DMI The Following Categories Make Up Your DMI Wellbeing DMI is a diverse, prosperous and rewarding place to work.
