Description/Qualifications:
Eligible for excellent hiring incentives, including a Start Bonus and Relocation Assistance (for hires relocating from greater than 100 miles). To qualify for the bonus candidates must not have been employed by Salem Health in the last 6 months. Bonuses are available to external applicants only and are subject to all applicable tax withholding.Your Role With Us:The Recruitment Specialist works as part of the SHMG Provider and Staff Recruitment Team to provide support throughout the lifecycle of the recruitment and onboarding process.Core Functions:Assist the Physician and Staff Recruiters to identify the best recruitment sources (websites, conferences, journal advertising) for medical specialties; and places local ads as needed.Maintain and update the Salem Health website, PracticeLink, the Salem Health Medical Group SharePoint Site, and identified job boards.Post advertisements for the Provider Referral ProgramSchedule phone/video screens for Physician Recruiters and Medical Directors as neededConduct PI Assessment with selected candidatesInitiate request to MSO to begin credentialing processMonitor credentialing updates, alert Physician Recruiters and MSO of delaysWork with Physician candidates to support the completion of the credentialing application and monitors submittals to ensure timelines are met for start dates. Working with hiring leaders, ensure new staff employees are properly on boarded.Background/Expertise:Bachelors Degree required.A minimum of (3) years of related work experience required; experience in health care or Human Resources preferred.One (1) year of working with physicians in a clinic or hospital setting preferred.HR Certificate or formal HR training related to employment law preferred.Proficiency with Microsoft Suite required.Maintains composure, consistency and accuracy under pressure.Must have the ability to hold in confidence any information regarding patients, personnel, or any other matters which are confidential in nature. Must have strong interpersonal and customer service skills. Ability to handle multiple priorities and concerns easily while working in a busy, multidisciplinary setting. Requires self-direction and the ability to exercise judgment in prioritization, accuracy, and promptness in completion of projects.Ability to draft and format documents and to proofread for accuracy.We have many excellent opportunities available!
