employment.Introduction:This position is responsible for a variety
of tasks related to administrative support services for the Human
Resource Department, including establishment and upkeep of all
administrative procedures in the Human Resource Department,
operation of computerized HR data systems, and coordination of job
vacancies and the employment process. -This position also provides
administrative support for the Human Resources Manager.
-Maintaining confidentiality on all HR matters concerning employees
and employment is required.Requirements:Associates Degree in Human
Resources or related field and one year experience in Human
Resources or as administrative assistant, --OR- an equivalent
combination of experience and education. Knowledge of: Employment
laws. Office equipment. -Experience must include database
management, word-processing, spreadsheets, record keeping skills.
Ability to: Relate well, with courtesy to others, and effectively
communicate, both verbally and in writing. Must be able to type 45
words per minute.Other: Must adhere to the confidentiality of
information and individuals as described in the CTSI Personnel,
Operations Manual, and other applicable federal laws and
regulations. Must have a valid Oregon driver's license and be
eligible to drive a GSA vehicle. -Duties:Conducts reference,
employment, DMV and criminal history background checks as required.
Assembles employee information packet, e.g. orientation. Ensure
completion of necessary forms in an accurate manner. Prepares
recruitment announcements and places them in appropriate
publications. Maintains job announcements, advertising and
descriptions records on computer files. Process written
correspondences with applicants about positions, process, and
hiring decisions. Facilitates all aspects of interviews including
scheduling, preparing applicant packets, and committee. Maintain
applicant's files. Schedules and conducts pre-employment exams.
Assist with coordination of the Employee Incentive Programs and
Safety Committee. Responds to inquiries regarding Personnel
policies, job openings, and applications. -Maintain necessary
records, forms, and logs. Assist with development of employee
training as assigned. Maintain financial records, reconcile cuff
accounts, and process HR bills. Run monthly reports, as requested
and create reports in HR software. Provide back up to reception and
HR Clerk when needed. Other job related duties as assigned. - -All
new employees will serve a six-month probationary period to enable
the General Manger to determine their suitability as a tribal
employee. -After the six-month probation the employee will be
evaluated of his/her performance and at that time, it will be,
decided if the employee is entitled to a regular employee
