As a Driver Trainee, you will be equipped with cutting-edge resources to deliver food products safely and efficiently to our prestigious clientele, including top restaurants, healthcare, and educational facilities. Undergoing training in driving techniques, route planning, and safety compliance. Assisting in the loading and unloading of food products and supplies, ensuring proper handling and timely delivery. Maintaining accurate records of vehicle inspections and ensuring the truck is equipped with necessary safety equipment. Learning about Sysco’s products and services to provide excellent customer service during delivery. Evolving knowledge of DOT regulations and maintaining a clean, safe driving record. Gradually taking on more routes and delivery responsibilities as skills and confidence increase. Basic mechanical skills to manage minor vehicle maintenance. Strong time management and navigation skills. Ability to lift heavy objects and maneuver products. Effective communication and customer service skills.
