Description: Job Summary:Hennick's Home Center is seeking an experienced and motivated Store Manager to oversee the daily operations of our store in Lakeside, Oregon. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in retail management, excellent customer service skills, and a solid understanding of hardware products and tools. This role involves supervising staff, managing inventory, driving sales, and ensuring the overall success and profitability of the store. Key Responsibilities:Store Operations: Manage day-to-day store functions, including opening and closing procedures. Ensure the store is clean, organized, and well-stocked. Implement and monitor store policies and procedures for efficiency and compliance. Staff Management: Hire, train, and supervise store employees. Create work schedules and delegate tasks to staff. Conduct performance evaluations and provide feedback/coaching. Customer Service: Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through excellent service. Resolve customer issues, complaints, and inquiries promptly and professionally. Provide product knowledge and assistance to customers when needed. Inventory & Merchandising: Maintain optimal inventory levels by ordering and receiving stock. Conduct regular inventory audits and minimize shrinkage. Oversee product merchandising and promotional displays. Sales & Financial Performance: Drive sales and meet or exceed store targets. Monitor financial performance including sales, expenses, and profit margins. Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly sales reports. Health & Safety: Ensure compliance with safety regulations and procedures. Train staff on proper handling of tools, equipment, and hazardous materials. Requirements: Qualifications:High school diploma or equivalent. 3+ years of retail or hardware store management experience. Strong knowledge of hardware tools, building materials, and home improvement products. Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills. Proficient in POS systems, inventory management software, and Microsoft Office. Ability to lift and move heavy merchandise as needed.
