As part of our team, you work with seniors requiring assistance and their families to determine their individual needs and requirements. Why work for Caring Places Management? Skills:Understand and carry out instructionsWork with kitchen assistants and Dietary ManagerUnderstand and follow the recipes and serve portion-controlled dietsMust demonstrate a commitment to the safe practices, infection control and respect for residents' rightsMust understand and be able to provide specialized dietsMust have a commitment to customer/resident serviceMust be able to cook food that is of good quality and pleasing to the residentsMust be organizedEnsuring that dining tables are clean and attractively set for each mealServing coffee/tea/drinks during meals as requested by residentAssisting residents who require help filling out daily menusDistributing daily menusHelping serve the meal if resident aides require assistance in getting a meal to the residents on timeMaking sure there is always fresh coffee made and that the juice machine is fullFilling all condiment holders prior to each mealFilling special resident requests during mealsListening to, and communicating with, each resident in a sensitive mannerBeing aware of the emotional/behavioral/mental conditions/needs of each resident and responding in a gentle, reassuring wayProviding personal care as appropriate while striving to promote self-care, independence, and dignity, and preserving privacyWorking as part of a team in meeting resident needsOther duties as assignedHave a strong commitment to resident customer serviceMust demonstrate a commitment to the safe practices, infection control, and respect for residents' rightsPerform each duty of the position in a manner that upholds the dignity, privacy, independence, safety, and security of each residentSchedule:Full TimeVaried ScheduleWage is starting at $17.50, DOE & CertificationsQualifications:High School Diploma or EquivalentMust have a current Food Handler's PermitExperience and skills in institutional cookingLift and move boxesBenefits:Health Insurance - FT Employees ONLYDental & Vision InsuranceHSA WellVia (Telehealth) - FREE TO EMPLOYEES & FAMILY MEMBERS AND EFFECTIVE IMMEDIATELY UPON HIRE401K PlanPTOCompetitive WagesEmployee AppreciationFree On the Job TrainingAPPLY NOW!
