Job Description The Port is looking for 1 part-time staff for it's RV park. The minimum starting pay is $18.00 per hour. We will be filling this position as quickly as possible. The first review of applicants will be on April 4th. The person(s) hired for these will positions will answer telephone call and greet guests in person to make reservations for the Port of Newport Marina and RV Park, assist guests checking in and out, assign moorage and RV spaces prepare and maintain paperwork, contracts, and files, process guest payments, run reports and prepare deposits, aid guests with their knowledge of area, communicate with and listen to guests, public, and coworkers in order to solve problems, get information, gather customer data, and direct guest feedback Company Description Founded in 1910, the Port of Newport is a municipal corporation located on the central coast of Oregon. The Port of Newport serves as the premier Oregon coast port for the commercial fishing fleets, for recreational fishing and tourism, and for ocean observation and marine research support. We are be one of the top Oregon coast ports for waterborne commerce while protecting and enhancing the beauty and integrity of the natural environment which is the foundation of our working waterfront community. The Port consists of the International Terminal, the Commercial Marina, the Recreational Marina, and houses the NOAA Marina Operations Center.
