Job Description:
Established Thai restaurant located in downtown Portland seeking
a full time chef. Responsibilities include representing the
restaurant and management with a professional appearance, attitude,
service and performance. Prepare food products to company standards
and adhere to food safety guidelines. Communicate with management
and fellow employees in a professional and friendly manner. Assure
orders are cooked in a timely fashion in keeping with unit cook
time standards. Food Prep duties include chopping vegetables,
breaking down, cutting or grinding meat, weighing and mixing
ingredients, washing and preparing vegetables, storing food, and
more. Observe company sanitation standards, rules and regulations.
Perform other restaurant duties as assigned. Keep prep and cook
area clean. The Dishwasher position is responsible for cleaning
dishes, utensils, glassware, pots and pans. Assisting in
maintaining a clean and safe restaurant. Stocking supplies for our
service and culinary teams Working together as a team to deliver a
great experience for our Guests.
