Classroom: 7:00 AM to 1:00 PM (96 hours)
Clinical: 5:30 AM to 1:30PM (75 hours)
(All classroom and lab times will be held in the Avamere Court,
Keizer Campus NA Classroom. Clinicals are 8 hour days; clinicals
will be held in Avamere Facilities located in the Salem/Keizer

This is a great start to become a Nursing Assistant in the State of
Oregon and is also a wonderful step to becoming a licensed nurse.
Avamere offers tuition reimbursement for Nursing School after one
year of full-time employment.
You will learn to:
* Check each resident routinely to ensure that his/her personal
care needs are being met in accordance with his/her wishes.
* Review care plans daily to determine if changes in the resident s
daily care routine have been made on the care plan.
* Inform the Nurse Supervisor of any changes in the resident s
condition so that appropriate information can be entered on the
resident s care plan.
* Assist resident s with daily needs, including preparation for
activity and social programs, and transporting residents to/from
* Create and uphold an atmosphere of warmth, patience, enthusiasm,
and a calm and cheerful environment.
* Ensure that resident s rooms are ready for receiving and make

* Must possess a minimum of a 10th grade education.
* Maintain confidentiality of all resident care information in
accordance with HIPAA guidelines.
