As the Pharmacist Informatics Coordinator, you will lead with daily oversight of workload assignments and personnel matters associated with services provided in Pharmacist managed technology areas. Implement and maintain organization wide pharmacy devices and ancillary systems. Reports to Pharmacy Manager or Director and responsible for developing, initiating, maintaining software databases and clinically evaluate that settings match current guidelines of care. Oversee the development, modification, testing, and debugging of programs as they relate to device and ancillary systems. Collaborate with pharmacy IT resources and other ancillary IT teams for integrated work. Identify and address all production support issues that impact pharmacy operations. Act as liaison for supported vendors. Point person for device enhancements as well as reporting on area workload and quality improvement activities. Also responsible for coordinating communication of policies, procedures as well as day to day operational needs. Assists in reviewing/screening candidates for employment and performs employee evaluations within area of responsibility. Qualifications:Education & Experience

  • S. in Pharmacy or Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm D)
  • Minimum of two years of experience in a pharmacy setting with demonstration of increasing responsibility, leadership and thorough understanding of pharmacy operations (within hospital setting, preferred).
  • Previous experience with devices, programs and vendors such as Omnicell and EPIC.
  • Previous experience with pharmacy software configuration, testing and implementation.
  • Licensed as RPh with Oregon Board of Pharmacy as of date of hire, or within 60 days of start date.Special Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities
    • Knowledge of Federal, State or other regulatory requirements related to delivery of Pharmacist managed services.
    • Understanding of employee – employer relationships and the rules pertaining to supervising staff.
    • Experience in program development and/or management oversight in directing team based initiatives.
    • High level working knowledge in using software programs such as EPIC, Microsoft Office, etc. in delivery of care or service to patient/ clients.
