Job Description:

Are you a Family Practice Physician looking for a rewarding locum tenens opportunity in Washington State? A highly regarded outpatient clinic near Toutle, WA, is seeking a dedicated physician to join their team. This is an excellent chance to work in a fast-paced community health setting, providing comprehensive care to a diverse patient population.

Position Details:

• Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM (40 hours per week). No call required.
• Contract Length: 3 months, with the possibility of extension.
• Start Date: As soon as credentialed.
• Patient Volume: Up to 21 patients per day, across all age groups (neonates to geriatrics).
• Support Staff: Includes a dedicated medical assistant, receptionists, mental health therapists, dietitians, and on-site pediatricians.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide outpatient ambulatory care, including family medicine, chronic disease management, and walk-in/acute care services.
• Perform basic procedures, such as injections, IUD placement, and minor wound care.
• Deliver culturally sensitive care to a diverse patient population, including migrants and refugees, with access to on-site interpretative services.

Requirements:

• Licensing: Active Washington State license and DEA required.
• Board Certification: Must be board-certified in Family Practice.
• Experience: Minimum of two years in a family medicine setting with recent face-to-face patient contact.
• EMR: Proficiency with Epic charting system preferred.
• Vaccination: COVID-19 and flu vaccinations required.
• Language Skills: Spanish or Russian language skills are a plus but not required.
