Job Description:
Jackson Health Professionals is seeking a dedicated School
Physical Therapist to join our team for the 2025-2026 school year.
The role involves providing tailored physical therapy services to
students to enhance their physical capabilities and development.
This position collaborates closely with educational staff to
integrate therapeutic practices with educational goals, ensuring a
holistic approach to student well-being. Evaluate students'
physical abilities and develop personalized rehabilitation plans.
Work in collaboration with teachers and parents to implement
comprehensive treatment strategies. Maintain accurate records of
student progress and therapy outcomes. Participate in IEP
(Individualized Education Program) meetings and contribute to the
development of student-related goals. Provide guidance and training
to school staff on accommodating and aiding students with physical
limitations. Strong understanding of pediatric physical therapy
techniques. Ability to design and implement effective PT programs.
Excellent collaboration and communication skills. Proficiency in
data management and documentation software. Medical Insurance 401k
Valid state licensure as a Physical Therapist. Basic Life Support
(BLS) certification, preferably APA (American Physiotherapy
Association) membership.
