Job Description:
Jackson Health Professionals is eager to welcome a dedicated
School Occupational Therapist for the upcoming school year. Our
focus is on enhancing educational outcomes by providing tailored
therapeutic strategies. This role involves assessing student needs,
planning and implementing therapeutic interventions, and working
collaboratively with educational staff to support student success
in the educational environment. Evaluate students' functional
abilities and daily living skills Develop and implement
intervention plans that enhance students' participation and
performance in educational and social activities Collaborate with
teachers, parents, and other school staff to integrate therapy with
students' educational goals Maintain accurate records of students’
progress and therapy sessions Recommend adaptive equipment and
provide training for its use Provide consultations and professional
development to school staff regarding occupational therapy Strong
understanding of occupational therapy models and practices in a
school setting Ability to devise and manage therapy sessions
adapted to children with diverse needs Excellent collaboration and
communication skills with various stakeholders Proficiency in data
entry and record keeping Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision
Insurance Life Insurance 401k Valid state Occupational Therapist
License National Board Certification in Occupational Therapy
(NBCOT) Clearance for state educational part (as required)
