Medical Laboratory Technician Location: Albany, OR Agency: Acruex Health Pay: $1,800 to $2,000 per week Shift Information: Nights - 5 days x 8 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: ASAP About the Position Pay Rate: $45.00 - $50.00/Hourly. Summary: The Medical Laboratory Technician performs routine laboratory tests and procedures to assist in the diagnosis, treatment, and prevention of diseases. The MLT works under the supervision of a Medical Laboratory Scientist, Pathologist, or Laboratory Manager and ensures accurate and timely test results while maintaining quality and safety standards. Responsibilities: Collect, receive, label, and process patient specimens (blood, urine, body fluids, etc.). Perform routine laboratory tests in hematology, chemistry, microbiology, immunology, and blood banking. Operate, maintain, and calibrate laboratory equipment and instruments. Record and analyze test results accurately. Report abnormal results to supervisors or physicians. Maintain quality control and assurance procedures. Requirements Requirements: 1 - Year experience Required, BLS Certification, ASCP Certification, Certified Medical Laboratory Scientist or Medical Laboratory Technician required.
