Job Description:
Atlanta Gentle Dental is seeking a motivated and compassionate
Temporary Dental Assistant to join our dedicated team. This
position offers the opportunity to engage with a variety of dental
procedures in a state-of-the-art facility where patient care is at
the forefront of our mission. As a Temporary Dental Assistant, you
will assist in both clinical and administrative tasks, providing
critical support to our dentists and enhancing the patient
experience. This role is perfect for individuals looking to expand
their skills in a dynamic, supportive environment. Assist dentists
during a variety of treatment procedures. Set up and breakdown of
workstations. Take and record patient medical and dental histories
and vital signs. Instruct patients on postoperative and general
oral health care. Sterilize and disinfect instruments and
equipment. Provide patients with support and reassurance during
procedures. Prepare materials for impressions and restorations.
Take dental radiographs (x-rays). Manage supply inventory and
perform routine maintenance on dental equipment. Knowledge of
dental instruments and sterilization methods. Understanding of
health and safety regulations. Ability to perform administrative
duties such as scheduling appointments and maintaining medical
records. Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills. Certified Dental
Assistant (CDA) preferred. Radiology certification as required by
state regulations.
