Atlanta Gentle Dental is seeking a skilled Dental Hygienist to join our dedicated team. Our services encompass a wide range of dental needs from preventative to cosmetic and restorative dentistry. As a Dental Hygienist at Atlanta Gentle Dental, you will play a crucial role in delivering exceptional dental care and patient education with a focus on preventative measures and dental health maintenance. Conduct initial dental assessments and evaluate patient oral health history. Perform dental prophylaxis, scaling, root planning and apply dental sealants and fluorides. Take dental x-rays and impressions as required for treatment planning. Educate patients on proper oral hygiene strategies and the importance of regular dental check-ups. Assist in managing medical and dental emergencies. Maintain patient dental records and document patient care services. Collaborate with dentists to plan treatments for teeth or gum diseases and monitor progress. Proficient in using modern dental technology and equipment. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Detail-oriented with strong observational skills. Ability to manage multiple tasks and remain calm under pressure. Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance 401k Current dental hygienist license in the state of Georgia. Certification in CPR and other necessary healthcare provider certifications.
