Locum Obstetrics and Gynecology Physician Needed for Call Coverage Job Description: We are currently seeking an Obstetrics and Gynecology Physician for locum tenens coverage in Oregon. This opportunity involves providing call coverage only. The assignment begins on October 31, 2023, and is ongoing. This vacancy is due to a department restructuring. Assignment Details: Start Date: October 31, 2023 End Date: Ongoing Provider Title: MD Provider Type: Physician Request Type: Locum Tenens Coverage Type: Call Only Practice Settings: Inpatient Requirements: Board Certified or Eligible in Obstetrics and Gynecology Active and unrestricted Oregon license Specialty Skills Required: Low risk pregnancy High risk pregnancy FHR interpretation - NST/CST/FSE OB Ultrasounds - Performance of, interpretation Level I/Screening (viability) Level II/Targeted (anatomic) Amniocentesis Routine delivery - Vaginal, Low forceps, Decision-making for c-section, Complicated delivery, C-section, Breech, Multiple births, Abruptions, VBAC's, Repair of 3rd & 4th degree lacerations Office/minor gynecology - IUD, Cystoscopy, Colposcopy, cryosurgery, LEEP, etc. Surgical gynecology - Open, Laparoscopic diagnostic/minor only - tubal ligation, LOA's, chronal tubation, Operative/major (includes diagnostic) - ectopic pregnancy, ovary removal, cystectomy, extensive LOA's Laser certification Call Details: Call Type: Beeper Call Response Time Required: 20 minutes Average Call Volume: 3-4 phone consults Location: This opportunity is located near Mill City, Oregon.
