Adventist Health Tillamook is actively seeking a mission-minded
General Surgeon for a full-time position in our Tillamook, Oregon
clinic (The Plaza). An established and hospital-sponsored
multi-specialty group practice with services that include: urgent
care, primary care, internal medicine, lab and X-ray, specialty
care services such as cardiology, orthopedics, podiatry, surgical
services, audiology, ear, nose and throat (ENT), nurse navigation
for breast cancer patients and counseling and behavioral health The
ideal candidate is a General Surgeon (DO/MD) who is passionate
about working in a Rural Health Clinic. Both newly trained or
experienced physicians with a collaborative approach to medicine

network of rural health medical offices spanning 71 miles of the
North Oregon coast in Pacific City , two in Tillamook- Plaza and
Women's and Family Health , Manzanita as well as inland in the
towns of Vernonia and Estacada . We serve more than 95,000 patients
annually. Several of our medical offices are certified as
Patient-Centered Primary Care Home Tier V clinics as recognized by
the Oregon Health Authority. The community of Tillamook is an
outdoor enthusiasts paradise. It is home to more than a dozen
mapped and maintained hiking trails, more than 800 miles of
navigable waters for kayak-ers. Take part in crabbing, clamming and
fishing in Tillamook and Netarts Bays. Tillamook is home to the
Tillamook Cheese Factory, Blue Heron French Cheese Company, Debbie
D's Sausage Factory, Pacific Oyster, and Tillamook County Smoker.
Candidates must be BC/BE, be Oregon licensed or eligible and meet
the hospital's medical staff credentialing standards.
