The East Portland/Fairview, Oregon Veterans Administration
Community-Based Outpatient Clinic is seeking a full-time
Board-Certified/Board-Eligible Family Practice or Internal Medicine
physician to join our out-patient clinic in Fairview, Oregon. This
position will serve as the Primary Care Clinical Practice Manager
Physician. As part of the Portland VA Medical Center, you will
provide services within an integrated network of care facilities
and a distributed system of outpatient clinics and hospitals across
Oregon. The primary care provider will function as a highly
skilled, independent care provider in patient management, working
within an interdisciplinary care team with access to
state-of-the-art medicine and the most advanced medical
technologies available. Candidates must be board certified in
Family Practice or Internal Medicine and demonstrate leadership and
administrative capabilities. Strong motivation to promote staff
education and development programs, along with a commitment to
professional enrichment, merit promotion, equal employment

Care Clinic operates under the PACT Model (Patient Aligned Care
Team). Along with their team, consisting of a PCP, RN, LPN, and a
Medical Support Assistant, the PCP will care for a panel of
approximately 900 patients. The PACT team provides comprehensive
care for our Veteran population, covering diagnoses, care, and
treatment of both acute and chronic conditions. Common conditions
include diabetes, hypertension, chronic obstructive pulmonary
disease, degenerative arthritis, depression, congestive heart
failure, and chronic pain. The position is Monday through Friday
with no weekends or holidays. Candidates must be motivated to
promote continuing education for staff, inter-professional
training, and demonstrate a commitment to professional growth,

relations. An OHSU academic appointment may be commensurate with
experience. Work Schedule: Full-time, Monday-Friday (minimal call
for abnormal labs) Requirements: Must be a U.S. Citizen Current,
full, and unrestricted license to practice medicine or surgery in
the U.S. Board Certification in Family Practice or Internal

short drive from downtown. Oregon's diverse climate includes
rainforests, deserts, ocean beaches, and snow-covered mountains.
