Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: ED - Emergency Department - Discipline: RN - Start Date: 01/19/2026 - Duration: 13 weeks - 36 hours per week - Shift: 12 hours, nights - Employment Type: Travel /n Job Description/n American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a night shift Emergency Room position requiring an active OR RN license and recent ER experience. /n /n Responsibilities/n - Position is based in the Emergency Room of a hospital setting - 12-hour night shifts from 6:00 PM to 6:30 AM - Assignment duration is 13 weeks - EPIC EMR is utilized in this unit - Bachelor's degree in nursing or related field preferred - CEN and TNCC certifications are preferred - Ability to recognize and interpret cardiac dysrhythmias preferred - NIH Stroke Scale certificate preferred - Local candidates are accepted at the same rate as travelers - Certifications and licenses must be active at time of consideration - Contingent workers may not exceed two years of assignment without a 90-day break between terms /n /n Requirements/n - Active OR RN license required at time of consideration - Minimum 1 year of recent (within the last 3 years) full-time ER experience - Graduate of an accredited nursing program - Current BLS and ACLS certifications required - Completion of Emergency Nursing Pediatric Course (ENPC) or Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) within 6 months of hire - Last 4 digits of SSN and date of birth required for consideration /n Benefits/n - High Pay and Bonuses - Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance with Day 1 Options - 401(k) Plan - Weekly Payroll Deposit - Free Online CEUs - Generous Housing Allowance - Travel and Licensure Reimbursements - Non-taxed Per Diem and Subsidy - Traveler Rewards and Discounts /n American Traveler Job ID P-645106.
