LPN - Long Term Care - Child Center at Providence Non-RN - Oregon summary: This position is for a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) providing specialized long-term care to medically fragile pediatric and adult patients at Providence Child Center in Portland, Oregon. The role involves 12-hour night shifts with responsibilities including ventilator support, tracheostomy care, and assistance with daily living activities. Description LPN – Long Term Care at Providence Child Center in Portland, Oregon. This posting represents a full-time night shift position. Hours are 7pm-7:30am (3, 12-hour shifts), with rotating weekends and holidays. Our Long-Term Care unit within the Child Center has a total of 46 beds, serving both pediatric and adult patients. We care for a unique and diverse population of medically fragile individuals, ranging from children with complex developmental and neurological conditions to adults with chronic illnesses and disabilities. Some of our residents require long-term ventilator support, tracheostomy care, and all require some assistance with activities of daily living. Required Qualifications: Graduate of an approved school for practical nurses. Oregon Licensed Practical Nurse upon hire. National Provider BLS - American Heart Association upon hire. 1 year - LPN Experience Preferred Qualifications: Coursework/Training - IV Therapy course and competency demonstration.
