LPN - Long Term Care - Child Center at Providence Non-RN -
Oregon summary: This position is for a Licensed Practical Nurse
(LPN) providing specialized long-term care to medically fragile
pediatric and adult patients at Providence Child Center in
Portland, Oregon. The role involves 12-hour night shifts with
responsibilities including ventilator support, tracheostomy care,
and assistance with daily living activities. The care team
emphasizes interdisciplinary collaboration, compassionate
resident-centered care, and professional development supported by
robust benefits. Description LPN – Long Term Care at Providence
Child Center in Portland, Oregon. This posting represents a
full-time night shift position. Hours are 7pm-7:30am (3, 12-hour
shifts), with rotating weekends and holidays. Our Long-Term Care
unit within the Child Center has a total of 46 beds, serving both
pediatric and adult patients. We care for a unique and diverse
population of medically fragile individuals, ranging from children
with complex developmental and neurological conditions to adults
with chronic illnesses and disabilities. Some of our residents
require long-term ventilator support, tracheostomy care, and all
require some assistance with activities of daily living. Our team

approved school for practical nurses. Oregon Licensed Practical
Nurse upon hire. National Provider BLS - American Heart Association
upon hire. 1 year - LPN Experience Preferred Qualifications:
Coursework/Training - IV Therapy course and competency
