ASAP About the Position Sumo Medical Staffing is recruiting an
experienced Physician Tele-health Hospice/Palliative Locum to work
in Portland, Oregon (OR). The team is anticipating the coverage
need starting 1/16/26. The role offers a competitive market rate
and Locums benefit. 49628 – Physician Tele-health
Hospice/Palliative Locum Role: · Coverage: Guaranteed hours –
8-hours per day; OT applies – after 9-hours per day. · Seeking: Two
Full-time providers – to provide telehealth coverage in Portland. ·
Schedule: Mon-Fri. Weekends (when needed): Busy with NPs covering
symptoms, high admits and complex cases. · Scope: 4-6 night calls a
month, plus approximately 1 weekend a month. Calls: Shared between
Portland and Medford Types of Calls: IDT, consultation and med
consults, telehealth visits, CTIs Overnight calls vary: 0-5 admits,
up to 2 symptom calls, x’ calls on complex. Occasional: Call-ins
for Crisis Visits, or GIP admits. · Support: Solo, with some NP
overlap. Requirements of the Physician Tele-health
Hospice/Palliative Locum role: OR state license; active,
unrestricted. OR DEA (and/or) WA License with WA DEA> Board
Certification/Board Eligible (within 5 years post-residency) – FM,
IM Experience preferred: Ample in Hospice BLS (AHA) Required
