Job Description:
The RRT will be knowledgeable and proficient in a wide range of
Respiratory Care procedures and protocols, including but not
limited to: Non-Invasive Ventilation: CPAP/BiPAP Airway Clearance:
Chest Physiotherapy Medication Delivery: Aerosol Therapy Gas
Therapy: Oxygen Therapy Lung Expansion: Incentive Spirometry Life
Support: Ventilator Management Diagnostics/Monitoring: Pulmonary
Screens Hemodynamic Monitoring Pulse Oximetry Set-up and use of
various monitoring systems Departmental Involvement (as needed):
Pulmonary function testing, SCNY, endoscopy, education programs,
performance improvement, and new projects.
