per week About The Position Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession:
Nursing Specialty: PCU Float Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night
3x12-Hour Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: 1 year of experience
within the last 3 years in MS/Tele License: Pending license
accepted Certifications: BLS required Must-Have: Strong telemetry
or intermediate medical care experience Experience with cardiac
drips (nitroglycerin, Cardizem, amiodarone) Management of telemetry
and interpretation of cardiac rhythms Management of dysrhythmias
and non-invasive airway management Description: Position in MS/Tele
is open for candidates. The clinician must have strong experience
in telemetry. Ratios are 1:4-6. This role requires experience
within the last three years in medical-surgical/telemetry.
First-time travelers are not accepted. Every other weekend is
required. The clinician will float to support multiple units as
needed. Candidates must be highly flexible and knowledgeable in
adult inpatient care. Floating to other facilities is part of the
position. Patient care ratios on days are 1:4-6 and 1:10-13 on
nights. The unit supports a variety of medical diagnoses.
Interdisciplinary support will be available, including physical
therapy and respiratory services. Experience with computerized
documentation is required. The clinician may be required to
activate rapid response teams. The candidate will provide support
to emergency departments when holding patients. Successful
management of patients with varying levels of care in the
medical-surgical category is essential. Care will be provided for
both adults and geriatric patients. Specialized equipment will
include IV pumps and feeding pumps. Candidates must complete any
