are seeking a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant to join our
team in Beaverton, Oregon at Avamere Rehab of Beaverton. This
facility has a friendly team of eight therapists across all
disciplines. The building has 92 beds of which 52 are skilled and
40 are long-term care. The building has an extensive gym featuring
Vital Stim for dysphagia, Scifit for upper body workouts, Dual
Cabal Cross Free Motion Machine, Nu-Step, Lite Gait, E-Stim, TENS
unit, and an ultrasound machine. The team upholds a strong
commitment to quality care, evidence-based practice, and
outstanding outcomes.As a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant

established patient treatment plan under the supervision of a
licensed Occupational TherapistCommunicates with patients,
families, referring physicians, and other members of the
teamProvides timely written documentation per facility and
department requirementsDevelops and enhances clinical and
professional skills through knowledge and professional
associationsProvides timely written documentation as required by
insurance provider to meet licensing, certification, regulatory,
reimbursement requirementsSupports and participates in department
operations and developmentReports any changes in patient status or
needs to supervising therapist on a timely
basisQualifications:Graduate of an approved Occupational Therapy
Assistant curriculumMust be a licensed Certified Occupational
Therapy Assistant in the state of OregonIn good standing with all
regulatory agencies and licensing boardsWorking knowledge of
Medicare and other payer sourcesFull knowledge of residents
rightsExudes professionalism in presentationAbility to
multitaskMust be able to read, write, speak, understand, and
communicate in English fluentlyMust have a current and active
