details! Position Summary The Short Stay Unit (SSU) at Asante Rogue
Regional Medical Center (ARRMC) has 25 beds within a pre and
post-surgical unit. We admit and prepare patients for various
surgeries from open heart, GYN, urology, ENT and pediatric to name
a few. As a dynamic nursing unit, we provide nurses the ability to
make a difference while providing a comfortable and excellence
surgical experience for our patients. In our unit, you will have an
opportunity to learn and grow your nursing skills within a
fast-paced and collegial team. With the ability to care for a
variety of patients, from geriatric, adult to pediatric, you will
educate, reassure and provide compassion to our surgical patients.
Qualifications Education Bachelor's degree in Nursing, preferred
Experience Minimum 2 years of recent peri-anesthesia/ambulatory
surgery center or Critical Care/ED experience, within the last 3
years is requiredPre-op and Post-op experience preferredCharge RN
experience preferred Licensure/Certifications RN: Registered Nurse
licensed by Oregon State Board of Nursing (OSBN) required upon
startBLS: Basic Life Support for the Healthcare Provider certified
through the American Heart Association (AHA) required upon start
Preferred Certifications CAPA: Certified Ambulatory Peri-anesthesia
