POSITION SUMMARYThe Wound Ostomy Department at Asante Three Rivers Medical Center has a dynamic team who are passionate about the work they do. This position will require an individual who excels as a team member, enjoys wound care, loves to learn and develop new skills and is comfortable with a physically active work environment. The Wound Ostomy Nurse provides direct and indirect care for patients with acute and chronic wounds, tubes, ostomies, burns and pressure ulcers.This position includes both the Outpatient and Inpatient setting. The clinic is open Monday-Friday and closed for most major holidays. No call or Weekends Required. QUALIFICATIONSEducation

  • Bachelor's Degree in Nursing preferred Experience 1 Year recent wound care experience as an RN inpatient/outpatient, preferred Previous Wound Care experience strongly preferred, but may be willing to train the right candidate License/Certifications
    • RN: Registered Nurse licensed by Oregon State Board of Nursing required upon start
    • BLS: Basic Life Support for the Healthcare Provider certified through the American Heart Association (AHA) required upon start
    • WCC: Wound Care Certified (NAWCO) and OMS: Ostomy Management Specialist (NAWCO) OR WOCN: Certified Wound Ostomy Nurse, within 18 months of hire Preferred Certifications
      • CWOCN: Certified Wound Ostomy Continence Nurse (WOCNCB)
      • CWON: Wound Ostomy Nurse(WOCNCB)
      • CFCN: Certified Foot Care Nurse (WOCNCB)
      • CWCN: Certified Wound Care Nurse (WOCNCB)
      • WCC: Wound Care Certified (NAWCO)
      • OMS: Ostomy Management Specialist (NAWCO)
      • DWC: Diabetic Wound Certification (NAWCO)
