Job Description:

GovCIO is seeking aProject Manager to join the Health Portfolio Intake teamwho is knowledgeable of project management functions. They willbe responsible formaintaininglines of communication among project team members. The environment is dynamic and client needs are often evolving. As such, thought leadership, problem-solving, rapid learning, and carrying the innovative mindset needed to lead our clients through conceptualization, strategic planning, and execution is important. Additionally, flexibility and forward-thinking views are important for success.The ideal candidate must be able to work independently with minimal supervision. This will be a fully remote position, within the United States, with core hours of operation from Monday- Friday 8AM to 5 PM ET.

  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks concurrently.

  • Responsible for managing multiple Intake requests at once.

  • Identifyand manage risks and issuesimpactingthe progress and outcome of the intake request.

  • Capture andmonitoraction items status, produce, and communicate meeting minutes and drive action to their proper resolution or conclusion.

  • Leverage excellent writing skills to translate complicated issues from multiple information sources into a clear point of view, and create a compelling, concise, and well-written narrative.

  • Clearlyidentifyproject stakeholders andestablishcustomer classes, as well as their characteristics.

  • Work with stakeholders and intake team tovalidatecollected requirements.

  • Promptly respond to requests from VA for document retrieval and ad hoc reports, providing documents as required within one business day of request. Be able to "understand the ask" and request data from theappropriate teammember.

  • Maintain various program and project documents, data, processes, and artifactsin accordance withVA directives.

  • Evaluate business processes and develop pros and cons associated with best practices that reachoptimaloutcomes.

  • Provide process improvement recommendation for documents, presentations, memorandums of understandings/memorandums of agreements, and Standard Operating Procedures.

  • Work as a team player and leader to effectively coordinate across functional teams.

    Required Skills and Experience:

    • Education Requirements: Master's degree in business administration, Business Management, Computer Science, Information Systems, Journalism, Marketing, Communications, or related fields with 10years of experience.Anadditional12-15years can be substituted for educational degree.

    • Familiarity with Agile/SAFemethodology.

    • Strong organization, time management, and prioritization skills with proven ability to balance competing tasks and meet deadlines.

    • Ability to work independently in a dynamic, collaborative, and results-driven environment with minimal guidance and supervision.

    • Means to build and manage client and professional relationships at all levels.

    • Powerful problem solving, applied reasoning, and analytical skills; experience translating analysis into clear recommendations and concrete action steps for diverse audiences.

    • Strong verbal and written communication skills, including reports and presentations.

      Preferred Skills and Experience:

      • Proficiencyin Microsoft Office Suite and Jira

      • Current VA network access is highly desired.

      • Prior experience supporting the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) or other Government agency.

        Clearance Required:

        • Must be a US citizen

        • Must be able to pass background investigation

          Posted Pay Range
          The posted pay range, if referenced, reflects the range expected for this position at the commencement of employment, however, base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, education, experience, and internal equity. The total compensation package for this position may also include other compensation elements, to be discussed during the hiring process. If hired, employee will be in an "at-will position" and the GovCIO reserves the right to modify base salary (as well as any other discretionary payment or compensation program) at any time, including for reasons related to individual performance, GovCIO or individual department/team performance, and market factors.
          Posted Salary Range
          USD $115,000.00 - USD $135,000.00 /Yr.
