Central City Concern is seeking a Project Manager to help further
the mission of CCC to fully support individuals and families
(housing, health, and training) to regain self-sufficiency ending
the cycle of homelessness for them!
The Project Manager is responsible for planning, directing,
coordinating, implementing, controlling, and completing medium- and
large-scale projects that help advance the strategy and mission of
the organization. The Project Manager will work collaboratively
with business owners, cross-functional project teams, and members
of the Project Management Office (PMO) to ensure projects are
properly planned and executed. Project work will often benefit from
a strong partnership with business owners and an understanding of
the business context for the project.
Additionally, the project manager will sometimes be a "hands-on"
member of the project team by working alongside team members to
coordinate activities and produce deliverables.
The Project Management Office and Team
The Project Management Office includes several project managers who
share knowledge, tools, and techniques to manage a diverse
portfolio of enterprise projects. Projects include designing and
launching new services, service and technology integration,
capability building, business analysis and improvement, and
projects to advance CCC's Equity and Anti-Racism Commitment.
The Project Manager is a key member of the PMO responsible
- Engaging stakeholders, including but not limited to directors,
managers, and staff, in the initiation and planning of projects to
ensure alignment on scope, requirements, deliverables, roles, and

context of the project, including helping to shape business cases,
business objectives, requirements, and scope.
- Review and analyze data to inform project objectives, scoping,
success measures and targets, and business decisions.
- Assuring projects are planned and executed in consideration of
the capacity and capability of key project resources.
- Executing project plans.
- Assembling and managing project teams, building coalitions and
consensus, and providing support and mentorship to team members to
achieve the project's objectives.
- Augmenting team members' efforts by coordinating activities and
producing deliverables needed to advance the project plan.
- Providing reports to various governance and stakeholder groups
on project performance.
- Contributing to improving the PMO.
- A Bachelor's degree in health services, business, finance,
economics, human resources, public administration, or related field
required, or equivalent combination of education and work
- Certificate in Project Management (CPM), Project Management
Professional (PMP) or demonstrated progress towards such
- Minimum of three years of progressively responsible experience
in complex health care, housing organization, or project
