What will I be responsible for in this job? The Executive Director, Product and Strategy will lead a competitive, innovative, and comprehensive product portfolio for our Hospital Revenue Cycle Services Customers. Your primary responsibilities will be focused on driving business results by clearly defining our strategic plan by predominately leveraging Change Healthcare solutions & capabilities. You will identify market opportunities and business development prospects, define strategic cross business unit product visions and goals, align with other Change Healthcare business units, and drive cross-functional product roadmap deliverables across the organization to ensure the business executes against key success metrics, including financial targets. What are the requirements?--- Years of experience:You should have 8+ years of Product Management experience in a large organization and with a proven track record.Given the healthcare industry complexity, you should have relevant healthcare experience.--- Education:Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university or relevant experienceWhat critical skills are needed for this position?Strategic analytical thinking: capable of providing clear, balanced advice/counsel on a broad range of strategic and complex management, product and go to market issues. Analyze current market capabilities and needs by reviewing data, publications and listening to the customer feedback.+ Ability to early recognize market trends and needs where CHNG can effectively sell the services+ Propose partnerships to accelerate our growth and go to market strategy+ Complete assessment on strategic partnerships, potential M opportunities+ Out of the box thinking in applying existing solutions to the new market+ Execution with agile mindset where MVP (Minimally Viable Product) approach is taken+ Partner with peers across organization to jointly tackle market challengesWhat other skills/experience would be helpful to have?+ Proven track record in executing go-to-market strategies backed by published white papers, speaking engagements or other market facing publications used to strengthen brand/product recognition.+ Leading change: ability to thrive and quickly adapt to change, leading others through change in a dynamic, fast-paced industry and work environment.+ Collaborating and influencing: effectively builds strong relationships and partnerships within and outside of the company. Ability to communicate effectively at all levels of the organization with an open, honest and direct communication style that establishes an empathetic and effective relationship with all levels of team members, including front-line and mid-level personnel. Able to effectively navigate within a matrixed corporate structure.+ Strong working knowledge of business financial practices, accounting, and business case development and analysis and ability to manage to a P+ Understanding and knowledge of commonly used concepts, practices and procedures within the healthcare industry, financial, and software development field+ Experience directing and managing large complex projects and experience supervising and/or leading other professional level staff+ Thorough knowledge of long-range and operational planning techniques+ Ability to navigate and execute in a matrix organization; experience interacting with clients and team members at multiple levels; ability to partner with Change Healthcare Centers of Excellence+ Demonstrated know-how in facilitating and guiding change agendas, where creating business trust, ownership and adoption is central to innovation success+ Demonstrated working knowledge of operations at the intersection of services and software, including healthcare information systems and telephony technology+ Ability to identify and address stakeholder needs, including internal and external clientsHow much should I expect to travel?Remote role that can be hired anywhere in the United States with up to approximately 20% of travel.#LIremote Join our team today where we are creating a better coordinated, increasingly collaborative, and more efficient healthcare system!
