Here, you will make an impact by:Supporting Acute care customers with vascular access and skin care solutionsUnderstanding sales goals and provide support on developing sales tactics and coordinate efforts to fulfill objectives.Building relationships with key customers in the buying process to understand their needs and offer solutions to support customer focused selling.Helping in the development of short and long term growth targets that align with existing business plans and strategies for greater territory and account penetration.Developing and implementing business plans and programs that increase market coverage, and analyzing sales data to maintain and grow the territoryCollaborating with colleagues and other departments within MSD including: Marketing, Pricing and Contracts, Sales Productivity, Education, and Clinical.Company VehicleThis position requires driving a company vehicle, which will require pre-employment and ongoing review of motor vehicle history for candidates who are offered and hired for this positionYour Skills and ExpertiseTo set you up for success in this role from day one, 3M requires (at a minimum) the following qualifications:Bachelor's degree or higher (completed and verified prior to start) from an accredited institutionThree (3) years of sales experience in a private, public, government, or military environmentCurrent and Valid Drivers licenseAdditional qualifications that could help you succeed even further in this role include:Healthcare sales experiencePrevious experience with Vascular Access and/or Skin/Wound HealingDirect experience with medical device or disposable salesExperience conveying complex ideas and educating cliniciansUnderstanding of national contracts and distribution managementProblem solving skills and consultative selling skillsLocation and Territory: Portland, ORTravel: May include up to 30% domestic travelRelocation Assistance: May be AuthorizedMust be legally authorized to work in country of employment without sponsorship for employment visa status (e.g., H1B status).Additional RequirementsIn this role, you may be required to enter healthcare or other third-party facilities.
